About
About Drew Mohler
37 years of improvement and transformation work. A practice built on the right tools, applied at the right moment. A career defined by finding the most powerful tools available — and knowing when and where to use them.
The Foundation
It's all about the tools...
Drew has been a DIY person since childhood. He's always loved finding and using the best tool for the job — and it's this passion that has shaped everything he has done professionally. It is why he was drawn to a career in improvement and transformation, why he has always embraced technology, and why he is deeply invested in AI today.
Drew spent 37 years at Buckman, a global specialty chemical company, progressing through roles in technical sales, quality and process innovation, organizational development, and global transformation. In parallel, he's maintained Mohler Business Consulting as an active consulting practice since 1997 — working with clients throughout the mid-South as a business coach and improvement advisor. When he retired from Buckman in July 2025, he shifted back to MBC with a clear focus: combining 37 years of transformation experience with the power of AI.

The work was always new.
From Knowledge Management and leveraging the early internet, to IoT and Smart Products, to global transformation initiatives alongside top-tier consulting firms — Buckman was always focused on finding innovative ways to improve. That's what made 37 years at one company possible.
The Intellectual Foundation
How Drew thinks about all change
Early in his career, Drew encountered a change management framework from Organizational Transitions: Managing Complex Change by Richard Beckhard and Reuben Harris. It became — and remains — the core of how he thinks about all improvement and transformation work.
That framework — understanding Current State, defining Future State, and designing the right path between them — is the intellectual foundation of every MBC engagement. Learn more on Our Approach.
The Teaching & Transfer Capability
Building capability, not dependency
Throughout his career, Drew has not just led improvement work — he has built the capabilities within the organization. From developing and deploying Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma trainer networks across seven global regions, to building statistical analysis training programs for customer organizations — the goal has been to build knowledge that lasts.
That same philosophy drives every MBC engagement today. Building internal ownership of solutions.
